Ron Tonkin's health - improving! FORZA Tonkini

Ron "Tonkini" Tonkin is the owner of the world's oldest Ferrari dealership, Ron Tonkin Gran Tourismo and has been hospitalized since Dec 17, 2009 with health complications. He has recently improved and entered recovery. Ron & Marcy support and attend many Ferrari functions and charities so this is very good news.

Prayers & warm wishes for a healthy recovery.

I have been lucky to have met Ron on several occations and have had the oppertunitity to talk Ferari's with him a bit. Very cool! He is a great guy and hope he is feeling better soon!

Didn't know this Kurt and concerned with you. I knew Ron has had issues the last couple of years but not happy to hear about the hospitalization. Keep us up to date on any news.

I first met Ron in Modena, Italy in September 1986 at the Hotel Fini's Ferrari Store. He had just bought a yellow scarf for Marcy and they were returning it to exchange for a red one.

Here is a video of Ron on one of my Ferrari club trips, where we got him to stand up and tell us a story on how he obtained the last Ferrari 288GTO produced.
