What's going to happen: We'll be parking the cars around the Castle. It will be an opportunity to meet and chat with other owners and enthusiasts.

Capacity: Currently a maximum of 100 cars. Can be easily increased to 300 if required.

About Headingham Castle:
Hedingham Castle's Norman keep, 110 feet high, was built c.1140 by Aubrey de Vere and is still owned by one of his descendants, The Honourable Thomas Lindsay and his wife Virginia.

There are four floors to explore, including a magnificent Banqueting Hall spanned by a remarkable 28 foot arch, one of the largest Norman arches in England. A good view of this splendid room can be obtained from the Minstrels' Gallery, built within the thickness of the 12 foot walls.

A visit to the castle and its beautiful grounds is ideal for a family outing, and during the summer there are a variety of special events which bring its colourful history alive. Come and enjoy one of our exciting Jousting Tournaments or other entertainments.

Entrance cost: There will be a charge of £5 per vehicle regardless of how many people are in the vehicle. So 1 vehicle and all occupants pay a total of £5 and you will get access to the castle attractions & facilities.

Normal charge for classic car display is £15 per car and £5 per passenger. Normal entry cost is £5 per person. All money goes towards the Headingham Castle restoration.


Catering: There will be catering facilities available.

Additional information: There will be a small supercar meeting there in March so that we can take pictures & videos for the website and also plan everything out. Details will be posted nearer the time.

Public access: The Castle will be open to the public on the day.

The Guest List: Access to the special parking will only be available to those on the guest list. If you are not on the guest list, you'll have to park in the public car park.
