Thanks. Hope to have the Daytona back next week. Then if the clouds ever part and the rain stops, we can begin the comparsions.

Boxer was kind enough to let me drive his 575 at the weekend. It's a beautiful example and feels very nice and tight.

CGT, your 575 is a beauty too. I absolutely love the colour combo. The offer is still open to swap it with my 308

Thank you but I love my 575. Just getting her back after some winter TLC.

And your lovely 308 is what started me on a road that may reach it's conclusion in the next few days Hope to see you soon, if all goes to plan we should have a 308 meet

An interesting thing to note, when I drove Boxer's car (built just a few months after mine, otherwise almost identical spec) I noticed the gearlever felt longer. I thought I may have been wrong but looking at these photos it does appear to be the case.. anyone cast any light on this? Should we all compare the length of our shifters??

I'm sure we'll catch up at a SR meet or on one of Boxer's Sunday morning drives next year
Haven't been on the forums much lately, did you get the 355 in the end?

I think that on the day they built my car Luigi had a big lunch and couldnt muster the strength to carry the longer piece of metal so opted for the short one

Probably a Friday, they needed to finish three cars but only had a long enough piece for two regular sticks so they decided on making a special run of three short shift sport 575s.

True, but it would even look good at a garbage dump!

Wonderful colour and quite rare (well at least before the California came along).

Saw a 550 in this color a few months ago. If the owner ever decides to sell, he has promised to call.
