I have seen pictures of a Testarossa Spider conversion. I believe the car is in the US.

By my knowledge no Testarossa Spiders left the factory, or maybe only one prototype, so the ones that exist are conversions.

Hi Testarossa Spider spotters, there has been one official Spyder, custom made for Mr. Agnelli. It's s/n 62987. All other Spiders are conversions. See attached image. Regards, Erik |

Just for the records: 79230 is a US-version 328 GTS. The serialnumber of the Koenig Spider is very probably 79236. 79953 is probably also an error, and should be S/N 79593. And to fill in some gaps: 70033 = coachbuilder 55925 = straman 88867 = pininfarina 75448 = coachbuilder 72695 = lorenz & rankl 71645 = straman |

'91 Ferrari TR #86740 was apparently converted into a Spider in CA in the early 90's when it was new. Does anyone know the car. It might be possible that Eurotech did the conversion as the last straman TR Spider is shown as #79957. Is anyone familiar with the Eurotech conversions as far as quality, etc. compared to the Straman cars? Terry 208.691.4666 terry@autoclassicsinc.com |
